Giving Back
In 2010, we welcomed our second son, Evan into this world. After experiencing unexpected complications, Evan spent almost the first month of his life in the NICU fighting a battle to beat the odds. This experience left an incredible mark on our lives and one we are forever shaped by. We were fortunate enough to be able to visit Evan morning, day and night but many families do not have such an opportunity due to something as simple as parking costs. As such, Turning Wheels has teamed up with the Jackson Chance Foundation. Jackson Chance Foundation’s mission is to enrich the lives of families with babies in the NICU by allowing them to spend more time with their critically ill baby. The foundation provides the basic human right that all babies deserve-time with their parents. They created the NICU Transportation Program to partner with hospitals and ensure that the financial burden of parking and transportation does not stand in the way of any parent being with their child. Turning Wheels is committed to donating 10% of all profits to the Jackson Chance Foundation.
